The BMW M3 marks its 25th anniversary in 2010 – an event that the entire performance automotive world celebrates as well. The M3 was introduced at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1985 and since then, it has been seen to evolve with each new generation. The current M3 has double the number of cylinders and more than twice the power of the original E30 M3. However, the current M3 has discreet lines and is nowhere near as showy as the old E30 was. The original E30 M3 had multiple aerodynamic enhancements, such as the box flared wheel arches that were used to accommodate the wider track with wider and bigger rims.
