Land Rover has tremendous growth potential, says Tata Motors boss

At the SMMT annual conference in London last week, Tata Motors boss Carl-Peter Forster talked about the Land Rover as having “tremendous growth potential.” He added that the carmaker has to enter more market sectors.

He also mentioned the possibility of starting to build cars outside of the UK. He disclosed that Tata Motors, Jaguar Land Rover’s parent, will need to launch a new-model campaign that would have more models joining to the Evoque. Meanwhile, the current models will be overhauled to offer smaller petrol and diesel engines and hybrid power.
